True Mid-Century Modern was developed in the early twentieth century as a complete break from the heavy, ornate Victorian elements of previous times. It developed as a whole new movement in architecture being total concept in design based on minimalism and function.

This style is composed of straight clean lines, functional streamlined furnishings, chrome, and natural finishes. If you like clean simple lines, this may your style!
